Join Our Mailing List

Spread the love

We share poetry anthology calls, local and online events, and much more on our Google Group email list all in the hopes that associated poets will grow in their poetic experience and accomplishments. All poets are welcome to join. You do not need to reside in Vallejo or Solano County, though posts regarding upcoming events may be most relevant to San Francisco Bay Area poets and spoken word artists.

Visit https://groups.google.com/g/vallejopoetrysociety/about while logged in to Google and click on “Request to Join Group.”

If you no longer want to receive emails from us, you can opt for a digest, abridged, or no email in your membership settings here: https://groups.google.com/g/vallejopoetrysociety/membership

Subscribers can opt to read post archives located online here: https://groups.google.com/g/vallejopoetrysociety

If you absolutely don’t want to hear from us, please unsubscribe instead of reporting the message as spam. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to vallejopoetrysociety+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com.

If you have a poetry publishing or spoken word performance opportunity to share with our group, you may send it to vallejopoetrysociety@googlegroups.com once joining the group where it will be held in moderation.

We reserve the right to and withhold messages from posting such as off topic threads to keep from overloading our members with too many emails, but most likely, if it is about a poetry event, organization, or publication, it will go through.

Disclaimer: Most of the time we are just sharing information, not sponsoring or hosting events or anthology calls. Comments and questions regarding specific events or anthologies should go to the emails listed in the post, not to our mailing list.

We would greatly appreciate if you would encourage others to join our mailing list instead of copying verbatim what we send out without giving us any credit for the hours of effort put in by community members to research, compile, keep track of, and inform you of these events and anthology calls.
