DJ Lala first invited poets into the KZCT 89.5 FM radio studio to appear on the Art Beat program on March 29, 2018. We’ve been coming back ever since. Poets who have appeared on the program include Benicia Poets Laureate Kathy Monroe, Tom Stanton, Mary Susan Gast, and Johanna Ely; Vallejo Poets Laureate Kathleen Herrmann, Jeremy Snyder, D.L. Lang, and Genea Brice; Napa County Poet Laureate Jeremy Benson, Fairfield Poet Laureate Juanita Martin, Jeff Kingman, Tony Aldarondo, Q.R. Hand, Nina Serrano, Peter Bray, Erika Snyder, Lee Lee, Daniel Badiali, Daniel Belcher, and Travis Jackson Jr.
On the 2nd Thursday of the month KZCT broadcasts Literary Dialogues with Nina Serrano.
